Users can publish a content map, document group, and time slice to make them available to the Internet and intranet users or other ThemePublisher users. When publishing, it is making a read-only copy of the content map on the server. Readers can flag, zoom, pan, and bookmark documents for future reference.   Users can publish their project to a local website or to a web server. The process is really easy. One click on Publish and then it provides the accessible directory where to copy the files from (or FTP) and that was it. Site Lens creates the applets to show the map.   Brains can be published. But it only can be published in a category of The vendor's Think Tank web page for Internet (global) accessing. The Notes Section as well as the files and shortcuts users have created can be published with the Brains. Also, users can keep some thoughts private (hidden) when publishing.   Yes. The MindMaps can be published on the Web through FTP, etc. Users can use MindManager's website export feature to create Java-enhanced websites.   No. Readware does not publish Collections automatically. The Readware IP Servers work in conjunction with a web publishing system.

But no wildcard characters support.   Yes, search for nodes only. Users can search for a text or numerical string in either: the labels of nodes, the ToolTips of nodes, and the URLs of nodes.       ThemeScape creates a content map that users can easily use to identify major thematic topics, which are represented as peaks; tall peaks contain many documents, and small peaks fewer. The similarities among topics are represented by the distance between the various peaks on the content map. Most interesting is that it is interactive; it displays the summary pages as the users move their mouse. Users can create new maps based on query results.   Site Lens genereates a map has a tree structure of multiple branches, which can contain several levels of nodes. The home page node is called the root node. There will be a plus/minus to show if the node has children (plus means yes). Since maps can be imported, users can build large maps from modules (branches) and separate datasets.   PersonalBrain can crawl sources and automatically generates visual maps for users. Users then can attach files, documents, email messages, and integrates web content (each one is considered a Thought) into collections (called Brains), and create associations between different Thoughts. The Brain view thought relationships as families, and its provide cross-referenced information at a glance.   It captures users ideas and presents them in a branch style Mindmap which is then enhanced by adding colors and symbols to make prioritizing and understanding even more easy.   Readware uses a Java spider to scan and analyze specified web pages or other sources into the specified Collection. Then users can use very strong Query tools to find the information they need.

No. The map will not include any document. Only each node represents an HTML page or data.   72 child thoughts can displayed in the plex, the rest can be accessed by scrolling.   Yes. However, the Internet browser has to be activated to access a web page, and a specific application, such as Microsoft Word, has to be installed to open a Word document.   HTML and text files are displayed in the web browser with highlighted hits. Application formats with MIME types are opened according to their MIME type. (Hits are not referenced but should be more obvious than the usual search engine.)

Content is further explored by clicking on the contours in the map or by clicking on document locations in the map to retrieve summaries or the full text of specific articles. Most relevant documents are displayed in the Top 10 list feature frame. A good feature is the ability to display a short summary of each document so that users can browse the summary first before getting the full document.   No. Users are not able to explore the content in a node.   When clicking on a thought, if it is active will automatically open the web page is has attached or open the necessary application and load the file.   User can double click on a hyperlink to access the web page or document or on text notes to open the content of the source.   It allows complex surveys of a pool of information to be condensed in a query and it returns highly relevant results.       Label can be edited. Size and font for text can be specified. When adding new documents to a content map, there are choices of incremental, or full update. If using automatic update, ThemeScape will decide the best method depending on how many documents have been added and how much the topics have changed.   Users can update a node or a branch. It is very similar to the familiar expanding collapsing vertical trees used in Windows Explorer. Also cut and paste or by importing the branch of the desired map. Users can conveniently change the node attributes with multiple nodes at the same time.   Editing the Thoughts is very easy. Users can create, link, forget (remove), remember (reactivate) links. A unique function is wiggle a Thought. User can drag a Thought and moving it around before finally deciding where to put it. From right clicking the mouse on a Thought, users can create parent/child, copy/forget a Thought, and attach web pages.   Support undo-redo. Users can copy/paste nodes, reorder by drag-and-drop components, change font and color of nodes, add symbol to nodes (such as a smiling face), and change subject of the nodes.   Java, VBScript or other scripting languages are supported. Perl, Java, VBScript or other scripting or programming languages can be used to create independent sophisticated interfaces to the intelligent text processing functions automated by the Readware servers. Users can use Java, VBScript or other scripting languages to implement independent clients.

A big picture or summary that is presented by a visual landscape of information - a topographical map - to show what's inside the collection and how related they are.   A project is the overall collection of maps, images, templates, and so on. Site Lens Studio opens a new project to include maps, plus customized icons, thumbnails, crawl results, and templates, and then publishes it to the Internet or to the local intranet.   A map that organizes all personal information with web content and easy to navigate to explore.   A spiderlike chart that represents ideas on the mind. MindManager uses symbols, colors, font sizes , thicker linking lines, etc. to make the visual map even more visible.   Readware creates user-defined collections ready for query that contains source, document, web pages, websites, messages or database stored in some type of document storage mechanism. When users define their query, the resulting links can be displayed by title, subject, date, rank, etc. in descending/ascending order.
