    Administrative Interface
    Weight: 5   Weighted Score:
64

  Weighted Score:
64

Uses a JavaScript interface to help manage administrative tasks across the network. Also has a command line interface that allows you to perform all the usual administrative tasks. The interface uses a general HTML design for layout, so while it is not fancy, all the capabilities are there for easy use. Designed for the remote administrator.   The interface is attractive, and well designed in general. It has a logical flow. However, the administrator cannot optimize the components or graphics for each function.
    Browser-based Management
    Weight: 3   Weighted Score:

  Weighted Score:

  Weighted Score:
0

Yes, reports are published to the ReportSite.     Report Design Interface
    Weight: 5   Weighted Score:
48

  Weighted Score:
0

Each element of a report can be added to a report set. In this way, you can have much more extensive list of reports than a lower end tool provides. The interface is still web-based, so it is a little less functional than a regular console. However, since it is web-based, the flexibility of access to it is increased.   No real report design interface, as the reports are all canned and there is no mix and matching of report elements for specialized reports.

    Ease of Configuration
    Weight: 2   Weighted Score:
6

  Weighted Score:
8

Configuration of the different sites to monitor and collect information seems fairly simple, but it all really depends on the reporting capabilities you need out of the software. For the more extensive reporting figures to be gathered from combined databases or multiple sites, you need to work with a professional services group to tweak the system.   Configuration once installed is well thought out and is part of the attractive general administrative GUI.
    Ease of Installation

The product installs very easily in both NT and Solaris environments. The person installing the product is prompted with clear questions.
