The following bodies of text will be a cumulative document that provides all the necessary documentation for a specific project [from the SC owner's viewpoint]. As identified originally in the IM Strategic Plan, projects will be tracked and developed through out the lifecycle with the documentation described in the following fifteen milestones of the SC IM lifecycle.

The milestones are:

3. Requirements
4. Preliminary Design Document
5. Acquisition Plan
6. Beta 1 Documentation
7. Critical Design Document
8. Beta 2 Documentation
9. Beta 3 Documentation
10. Pre-Release Documentation
11. Test Plan
12. Training Plan
13. Transition Plan
14. Rollout Plan
15. System Maintenance Plan

Project managers should provide updates throughout the project lifecycle on progress and any potential delays. Do not wait until a milestone due date to provide information. A continuous dialogue should be maintained between all IM teams throughout the development process.
